Custom Histories
I love discovering every home’s origins, from a humble bungalow to a stately mansion. This time-intensive process involves sifting through many resources and exploring many (fascinating) rabbit holes. Every history is unique and reveal a home’s first family and subsequent families, and many times, the architect and/or builder. The result is a neatly arranged pdf/book that usually includes these types of records: a chain of ownership; 1937 photograph; maps; permit records; property record cards; directory listings; censuses; newspaper clippings; and homeowner documentation.
